This is a special Ada County Central Committee (GOP) meeting which has been called so the Precinct Committeemen can vote on the replacement Ada County Commissioner.  The candidate ID4L is supporting is our good friend Dan Dunham.

The only people who can vote in this meeting are those who are currently elected to the office of Precinct Committeeman (2010-2012 term).  If you were not elected in 2010 (or appointed thereafter) you may not be eligible to vote. Again, this is for CURRENT PCs.  The Tuesday night election we just had is for the NEXT TERM office (2012-2014).

Here is a message from Dan:

Thursday at 7 PM there is a special session of the Ada County Central Committee to assemble a list of three people to finish Vern Bisterfeldt’s term of office. This will be an ordered list that will then be submitted to the Governor and he will appoint the person to finish Bisterfeldt’s current term. I am ‘running’ to be placed in the first position on this list. I need all the precinct committeemen to come to the meeting and vote and I am asking for your support. The current precinct committeemen will be voting, not the newly elected ones. I have a long history in the party from precinct committeeman, to District Chair, to candidate for office, to campaign worker. I was the SW Idaho Victory Coordinator for Raul Labrador. I am involved, and I have worked hard to affect a return of our party to it Constitutional roots to serve the people. I am asking for the opportunity to work at the county level with a vote to move this agenda forward. I need you to come to this special session and help me. If you have any questions, please call me.

**** ALERT ****         Ada County Residents            **** ALERT ****

The back (or front) yard chicken fight is ON still for Ada County.

Do you know about the new proposed animal ordinance?

It affects ALL ANIMALS AND FOWL in unincorporated Ada County.

The proposed ordinance would result in having your animals or birds REMOVED from your property, impounded, and excessive fines being levied against the animals owner for such things including:

“animals running at large”-animals trespassing onto property no owned by the animals owner

“animals emitting sound in an excessive, continuous, or untimely fashion”,

“animals damaging private or public property”.

This would REQUIRE ANNUAL education WRITTEN VERIFICATION in order to have animals or fowl on one acre OR LESS.

Would change from “nuisance dog” to “nuisance domesticated animal” to include ALL ANIMALS AND FOWL.

If this affects you, please get to the Ada County Commission meeting at the Ada County Courthouse (200 W Front St) at 6:pm, WEDS May 9th to testify.

The ordinance can be found at adaweb.net and is Ordinance file # 201101223-ZOA Amendment to Ada County Code.

Calling all Treasure Valley Idahoans for Liberty!

Please root through your garage, closets, shop, and storage unit….FOR LIBERTY!

I am looking for donations, so I can hold a MASSIVE YARD SALE, with Ada County Sheriff, Curtis Cattau’s campaign, as the beneficiary.

We all know that Curt has a HUGE campaign coverage area, ALL of Ada County, and he needs all the help he can get. We are REAL grassroots here, (not bought and paid for) and so is he, so lets do what we can to get him some money for flyers and signs to put up all over the county…

If you have MONEY, then email me and just give him what you can (I will pick up checks/cash). If you have STUFF, even a plastic bag full of clothes, board games, old books, ANYTHING, then call or email me, and I will pick it up. ANY LITTLE BIT helps TREMENDOUSLY…

And don’t we DESERVE a Constitutional Sheriff?……Do we?

Does anyone deserve ANYTHING they DIDN’T WORK FOR?!

You picking up what I’m puttin’ down?

Call or email me all the way up to Friday, April 20th, and I will come get your donations.

AND, THANK YOU!

Letter-to-the-Editor event for ID4L Candidates

Venue
Great Wall Restaurant

Calling all patriot volunteers to write Letters to the Editor for liberty candidates.

Elizabeth Allan Hodge will explain what makes an effective Letter to the Editor, so that we can support our candidates.

Candidates – bring a few loyal friends and family, even if they don’t live in your district.

We’d like to focus on some of the ID4L endorsed candidates who are in contested primaries:

Congress – District 2

Chick Heileson

Ada County Commissioner Seat 1

Sharon Ullman

Ada County Commissioner Seat 2

Steve Halvorson

District 15, House Seat B

Mark Patterson

District 20, House Seat A

Chris “Mac” MacClould

District 20, House Seat B

Patrick Malloy

District 21, House Seat A

Parrish Miller

District 21, House Seat B

Lori Shewmaker

District 22, House Seat B

Michael Law

Candidates: make this easy and prepare a White Paper on yourself and your platform. Invite a couple loyal friends and family – they can attest to your character in their letters to the editor, and will help us all craft truthful letters on your behalf. They don’t have to live in your district, as these letters will be sent to papers, posted online, etc.

Everybody bring paper and pencils – be prepared to crank out some letters that night! This is a mighty tool to get our candidates on the public radar – it’s free and powerful.

Elizabeth Allan Hodge has volunteered to share her expertise, so make every effort to attend.

Feel free to come earlier for dinner.

This event is being hosted by Valerie James.

CANYON COUNTY CANDIDATE FORUM AND PRECINCT COMMITTEEMAN TRAINING

Everyone welcome!  Following our successful Ada County event, we will be co-hosting another one in Canyon County.

All friends of liberty in Canyon, Ada, and any other county are invited.

Part of the meeting will feature pro-liberty candidates running for public office.  Don’t know who to vote for yet?  This will be a great opportunity to meet candidates that reflect your views.  Some of the invited candidates include:

District 10

Kent Marmon – Senate

District 11

Marice Clements – Senate

Greg Collett – House Seat A

Matt Dorsey, Ronalee Linseman – House Seat B

District 12

Bob Schaffer – Senate

District 21

Parrish Miller – House Seat A

The other part of the meeting will be dedicated to the precinct committeeman elections, and about how to become a Canyon County delegate to the Idaho State Convention.  You don’t have to be a PC candidate to participate, because we need volunteers to get our precinct candidates elected as well.

Also, if you live in Canyon and are interested in becoming a precinct candidate, please attend, because there is still the opportunity to run as a write-in in any precinct that is still vacant!

Meeting starts at 7PM, but please come early for dinner and socializing from 6:30 – 7:00.
